Samsung has officially announced the successor to its highly-popular Samsung GALAXY S, named as Samsung GALAXY S II (GT-I9100), which Samsung claims as the world’s thinnest dual-core smartphone running on Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform, combining a new innovative, crisp 4.3″ Super AMOLED Plus display, speedy dual-core processor, TouchWiz 4.0 UI, lightning-fast HSPA+ connectivity and built-in NFC (Near Field Communication) support into a single stylish, sleek device.
