Panasonic has announced the upcoming availability of its first ever pocket-sized full HD camacorder that also can perform as a web camera, named as Panasonic HM-TA1, capable of capturing up to 8 megapixel still shots, and full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) video at 30 frames per second, featuring built-in USB terminal with pre-loaded software for quick, easy uploading videos to popular social sharing sites such as YouTube and Facebook.

The new affordable, ultra-portable Panasonic HM-TA1 video camera that available in 3 color variations – purple, grey and black, is scheduled to be available in August 2010 for around $170.
