  • Dont you get the feeling in Windows you are being nickle and dimed at each turn.

I am here because some idiot sent me a MDI file and I need to read it. So here I am on this post.

The document is 19 pages, and of course I can only get a low resolution jpg out of this so called freeware.

I added Bulldog PDF printer and I was able to

print it to a PDF file without being charged to buy a license for a file format that Microsoft should not have created in the first place.

Useless, crippled software. Does not work without you ordering the "lite" license. I uninstalled and deleted it immediately. Don't bother with this junk.

Absolutly perfect sorted a major headache out

I tried this program and was surprised to find that it wouldn't let me save as TIF. It also noly saves the first page in low resolution as a JPG. To do anything more than that, you have to purchase at least the light version. Seems like something might have changed in the licensing since this article was written. One of the annoying pop-ups does say it should save as TIF, but there was no feature for doing this, nor was it an option in the 'save as' dialog.

Bottom line – this "article" is a nice ad.
