In order to tap the market of facebook users, HTC has added two new smartphone to its Android based smartphone lineup. Named as HTC ChaCha and HTC Salsa, the smartphones have been specially designed entirely for social networking activities. Therefore, both of the phones have been featured with a dedicated Facebook button for one-touch access to the key functions of the Facebook service that are integrated throughout the HTC Sense experience.



Key features of the HTC ChaCha includes:

  • Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating systems.
  • 2.6-inch TFT touchscreen with 480 x 320 resolutions.
  • 512 MB of Internal memory.
  • Supports up to 32GB of mircoSD memory card.
  • 5-megapixel rear camera with auto-focus and LED flash.
  • 0.3-megapixel VGA front camera.
  • Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth enabled.
  • 3.5 mm stereo audio jack.

Key features of the HTC Salsa includes:

  • 600 MHz processor.
  • Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread operating systems.
  • 3.4-inch TFT touchscreen with 480 x 320 resolutions.
  • 512 MB of Internal memory.
  • Supports up to 32GB of mircoSD memory card.
  • 5-megapixel rear camera with auto-focus and LED flash.
  • 0.3-megapixel VGA front camera.
  • Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth enabled.
  • 3.5 mm stereo audio jack.

The HTC ChaCha and HTC Salsa smartphones are expected to be available to customers across major European and Asian markets during second quarter of 2011.
