Windows Genuine Advantage Validation Tool v1.7.69.2 for Vista SP1 and XP Cracked by Hacker
Microsoft updates Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA) Validation Tool, LegitCheckControl.dll, to version 1.7.69.2. In fact, the v1.7.69.2 of WGA Validation ActiveX control has packaged into Windows Vista SP1 when it’s released on March 18 2008. Subsequently, on April 1 2008, this version of LegitCheckControl.dll, together with WGA Notifications files, WgaTray.exe and WgaLogon.dll, is been deployed to Windows XP, updating WGA v1.7.69.1 which been released just few days ago.
Unfortunately, hackers, especially Team ETHO managed to crack the WGA genuine Windows validation process again. The patched LegitCheckControl.dll will allow users to bypass genuine validation check to download bonus or value added programs that restricted to genuine Windows users from Microsoft Download Center, Windows Update and Microsoft Update. Team ETH0 claims that the patch is 100% working on both Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows Vista SP1, and probably on Windows Server 2003 and 2003 too. The cracked WgaTray.exe and WgaLogon.dll also remove the non-genuine or pirated copy of Windows warning message.
Microsoft has removed Reduced Functionality Mode in Windows Vista SP1, and instead opt to less punitive option of just giving counterfeit version repetitive warning message and reminder to activate the system. However, Microsoft also restrict pirated system from getting free software program and non-critical updates by using WGA. Now that the latest version of WGA is cracked, it means that the bonus offer for genuine Windows user now shared equally with non-genuine user, who however has disadvantage of more inconvenience.

To use the auto patcher, simply extract the archive package into a new empty folder, and then run the installer.bat file. This new version also comes with several installer switches listed below:
installer.bat /u – uninstall the crack
installer.bat /c – cleanup old cracked files
Running the installer as usual (without any switch) will remove old backup files, create new backup files and install new cracked files. For better method, try to make the system genuine.
WGA v1.7.69.2 has also been published through Windows Update.

another trick. Set your windows update to notify but do not download. when genuine advantage update comes up in the list, and it will, deselect genuine advantage and check the box to not remind you about this update again. You should be able to download further updates with no problems!
WMP11 can be installed! use a program like universal extractor to extract the exe file of WMP11 now run the four exe files at the end of the folder! No genuine advantage.

How can I install validation crack for Vista. I tried installing it in safe mode but it won't apply. I still cannot bypass validation and prompts me to activate my vista.
Referencing the previous message,this got rid of nagging and desktop message but not able to use Windows Updates.I have learned my lesson and am going bare again as the cure is worse than the alternative.Looks like Auto Updates is turning into the beast that was predicted when XP was 1st released………
Option 1 worked for me after I was infected:
If you key is not valid you have the following options to fix the problem asap. (Besides calling Microsoft asking what´s wrong of course.):
Option 1.
In explorer, go to Tools > Folder Options. Then, go to View > Advanced Settings and uncheck “Use simple file sharing��?. Hit OK. Now, let’s change the permissions for WgaLogon:
In the Address bar, type (without quotes) “%WinDir%system32″ and hit enter.
Scroll down to WgaLogon.dll, right click on it, pick Properties. Go to Security.
Hit the Advanced button, uncheck the Inherit box at the bottom, hit the Copy button, then hit OK. Now we have a local copy of the ACL which we can modify.
Go through each listed user/group and remove the “Read & Execute��? permission for that file, leaving the “Read��? permission as-is.
Hit OK to apply the permission changes and close the file properties dialog. Restart the machine. You can now turn “Use simple file sharing��? back on, if you want.
Option 2.
Clear the file C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataWindows Genuine Advantagedata from all data and make it read only. Restart Your Computer.
Option 3.
If you have another windows xp key (maybe because if your complaint to Microsoft or the retailer that sold you the operating system) you can change the key by using Microsofts Key Update Tool.
Option 4.
There are ways to uninstall the wga files. This is only a temporary solution, next time you run windows update it´s likely to be installed again. (source)
1. run > regedit, search and delete all references to WgaTray.exe
2. start in safemode and remove the infection by deleting the file WgaTray.exe in c:WindowsSystem32, placed there by the second greediest Corporatin in the World (Intel honlds the enviable no1 spot). (B. Gates III is best known for spying on his customers.)
3. restart your computer

If you read through the pages and posts relating to wga, the issues mentioned in these posts have been covered repeatedly, yet people fail to read the information, do something wrong, still fail to read the information and start complaining.
To address the points made above.
Some MS software, and that includes WMP11, have their own wga built in. This patch does NOT address that type of wga. Yet again and again, people don't read the articles, and complain that they have issues with WMP11.
Secondly, the patch only works if it is applied to a system which already has core wga components installed. If you try and use this patch where those core components are not already installed, do things in the wrong order, or try to patch a fresh XP install without first doing other things, you run into the issues mentioned in the posts above.
People who run into the issues complained about lack the necessary skills and knowledge to successfully run an unlicensed copy of XP and should go out and buy a genuine OS, or engage the services of someone that does understand what they are doing.
Have run the crack but on reboot if I use windows update I end up having to download KB892130 again and this then says not genuine…what am i doing wrong

i downloaded the patch, run the .bat file
and everything worked fine untill…. i restarted my pc, and no prob untill i wanted to install SP2, while installing i got an error saying my valitation key is not valid… ='( any help?

Do an advanced install of the update and disselect the item. It will then ask you if you permanently want to ignore that specific update.
Crack is working but after reboot the new installation from Microsoft is required (yellow icon next to clock) and then Automatic updates wants to install Genuine again. Is there any solution for this issue? It seems that this issue starts about 5 days ago. THX
The crack seems working. I only cannot get my mediaplayer to validate.
I get the screen to telling me I still need to validate the thing and when I push validate the wizard sais that my windows is not genuine.
(internet explorer 7 installed and works.)
Are you sure you have WGA installed, it's not compulsory! if not you might have a really old version.
