To run VDownloader, simply unzip and extract all files inside the archive to a folder in local hard disk drive, and double click on vdownloader.exe executable. Make sure that both vdownloader.exe and ffmpeg.exe are located inside the same directory, else videos may not be properly converted and encoded. Then copy and paste the link location of the video wants to download into Video URL text field, and click on Download button.

…and when I try downloading from a link using VXDownloader, it just says it's an invalid link.

NO, it doesn't, you fool! When trying to download videos from adult sites it prompts you that it doesn't support adult material and that you have to download VXDownloader instead. Check up on things before saying so.

Nonono…VirusTotal report, 5 anti-virus out of 32 report viruses, i think the anti-virus is reporting false reports, even Symantec, Nod32, Microsoft, Panda, etc. didn't report viruses.
This is so weird. Today AVG told me that vDownloader was infected, but I have used it before, and it never said anything.
DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!!! I got a virus warning, too. Why is it still linked???
