Both CouponBar and Coupon Printer are not considered to be a spyware in the sense that although the coupon printing software or CouponBar toolbar (ActiveX based or Internet Plug-in) will automatically collects information to provides you offers, promotions and advertisings, they do have a clear privacy policy on this information usage. Nonetheless, if you are not taking advantage of coupons saving opportunity, it’s wise to opt-out and uninstall the software from your computer to minimize any security risk.

1. Click on the Start button.
2. Click on Control Panel.
3. Click on Add or Remove Programs applet.

   

4. Locate and select CouponBar form the list of currently installed program, then click on Change/Remove button (Uninstall menu button on top in Vista) to uninstall the CouponBar.

   

How to Uninstall Coupon Printer in Internet Explorer 7

1. Open IE7.
2. Click on the Tools menu.
3. Select Manage Add-ons menu item, then select Enable or Disable Add-ons in the submenu.

   

4. Select Downloaded ActiveX Controls (32-bit) from the Show: menu.

   

5. Select cpbrkpie Control from the list.

   

6. Click on Delete button.
7. Restart Internet Explorer.

How to Uninstall Coupon Printer in Internet Explorer 6

1. Open IE6.
2. Click the Tools menu and then select Internet Options.
3. Click the Settings… button located in the Temporary Internet files section.
4. Click the View Objects button.
5. A new Explorer window will appear displaying downloaded program files. Right click on the file labeled cpbrkpie Control and select Remove from the right click pull down menu.

   

   Note: If you are not able to find cpbrkpie Control in the downloaded program files list, navigate back one directory (to C:\WINDOWS). Right click on the file labeled cpbrkpie.ocx and select Delete.

   

6. Restart Internet Explorer.

Remove Coupon Printer in Firefox

1. Run Windows Explorer.
2. Navigate to Program Files directory to view a list of the installed programs.
3. Find and open the Mozilla Firefox folder (Default path: C:\program files\Mozilla Firefox\).
4. Open the Components folder and locate the file named npcpbrk7.xpt. Right click on this file and select Delete.

   

5. Then go to the Plug-ins folder and locate the file named nccpbrk7.dll. Right click on this file and select Delete.

   

6. Restart the FireFox browser.

Uninstalling the Coupon Printer Plug-in in Safari

1. Click on the Finder icon to open the Finder window.
2. Select the local hard drive from the Finder window to display the drive’s contents.

   

3. Locate and open the Library folder.
4. Locate and open the Internet Plug-Ins folder from the Library.
5. Select the Coupon.plugin file and move it to the trash.

   

6. Close and restart the Safari browser.

Remove Coupon Printer Plugin from Netscape

1. Run Windows Explorer.
2. Navigate to Program Files directory to view a list of the installed programs.
3. Find and open the Netscape folder (Default path: C:\program files\Netscape\).
4. Open the Components folder and locate the file named npcpbrk7.xpt. Right click on this file and select Delete.

   

5. Then go to the Plug-ins folder and locate the file named nccpbrk7.dll. Right click on this file and select Delete.
6. Restart the Netscape browser.
