Intel Plans to Lower Netbook Pricing with Atom N450 Launching by Early 2010

Intel Atom processor is so successful that able to penetrate into netbook, nettop as well as embedded markets for various usages such as digital signage, automotive, industrial segments and many more. In order to fulfill these different kinds of segment requirements, the giant chipmaker is innovative enough to create and modify so that they are different version of Atom series being generated with some with low power, some that are industrial compliance that can extend the operating temperature range and now with the new Intel Atom N450 series pairing with NM10 chipset, it is claimed to be built with lower cost in mind to compete against other rivals’ products with lower retail price.

Search For Images Via GazoPa Similar Image Search Engine

After about a year’s private beta trial service, Hitachi America, recently released its image search engine, GazoPa, as an open beta version and offers to the public for trying, testing and feedback without the need to register or log in. GazoPa is a next generation image search engine which allows users to use features from one image to search for and to identify for similar images. For instance, users can upload a photo or draw an image via the image editor from the search engine. The search engine will search for similar images from its database based on the input. Besides, users also via other methods such as entering a photo’s url or typing a keyword can make similar photo search. GazoPa can support not only photos but also the search of video thumbnails.

If trees are a scarce commodity and the Information Age sees no signs of retreating, it makes sense to produce e-book readers for the future market. A paperless society can be a reality when consumers have no choice but to turn to alternative sources to paper. If everyone owns a mobile phone today, perhaps the e-book reader will be the next gadget to be viewed as a necessity rather than a luxury item for the literate.
