From a certain point of view, advertisement is quite an informative form of communication which can furnish consumers with a lot of market information and knowledge. For instance, some of those ads and advertising banners which appear on the internet can update users on the latest products, new movies, album releases, etc. Having said that, sometimes it could be very annoying when popup ads and banners on the internet keep prompting out to disturb you while you are surfing the net. These extremely glaring ads disturb your viewing, clutter the page and makes it longer for you to load a page. Of course you can decide to block these ads if you feel they are really a nuisance to you.

Improve Computer Skills Via New Microsoft E-Learning Portal

Studying and learning new skills probably is one of the encouraging things people can do during the economic downturn especially when the courses are offered free. To help users to gain technology skills or to polish up their IT knowledge, Microsoft has unveiled a new portal namely Microsoft Elevate America. Microsoft Elevate America offers low cost and even free certification and other technical trainings are being conducted in a phased approach. Interested parties who want to learn some basic computer skills can log on to this new site for some eLearning courses. The courses will feed users with computer knowledge and help them to be more familiar with Microsoft products, e.g. Microsoft Office, Windows OS, etc.

CTP Version of SQL Server 2008 Service Pack 1 (SP1) Available For Download

Microsoft has released the CTP version of SQL Server 2008 Service Pack (SP1). Users can use these packages to upgrade any SQL Server 2008 edition. This release has basically fixed the issues reported through the SQL Server community. Microsoft has highlighted that this CTP version is basically made available for general testing purposes only. It is not advisable to deploy the CTP version in the production environment.

Switcher 2 Free Download As Alt-Tab or Win-Tab (Aero Flip 3D) Alternative Replacement Like Mac Expose

Despite already been overhauled and greatly enhanced with introduction of Windows Aero and Flip 3D, which able to preview live thumbnail of the windows, the task switching, or Alt+Tab or Win+Tab to change focused window function, remains roughly the same. Other than scrolling through opened program windows, nothing much else features is been added.

Philips Announced Net TV With Built-In Internet Access

Keyboard Shortcut to Activate and Hold Windows or Tasks Switching State

In Windows operating system of Windows Vista and Windows 7, user usually press Alt+Tab or Win+Tab keys to switch and change between various opened program windows or tasks. The difference between Alt-Tab and Win+Tab keyboard hotkeys is that the prior is using classic 2D switching UI which exists since Windows 9x era, and the later allows user to change to another application window easily by showing Flip 3D Aero live snapshot or thumbnail preview.
