F-Secure Advice To Stop Using Adobe Reader Due to Security Vulnerability

The increase of the PDF format’s popularity has simultaneously increased the demand for the free Adobe Reader by the famous Adobe software. The high demand of Adobe Reader program has triggered attention from hackers. The chief research officer of the famous Finnish security expert F-Secure, Mikko Hypponen, has highlighted in the recent RSA Conference 2009 in San Francisco that Adobe Reader has replaced Microsoft Word to become the popular target attack by hackers. Windows 7Despite the fact that Microsoft is now proposing to release full functionality Windows 7 with web browser “Ballot Screen” option for European Economic Area (EEA) customers, the original proposal, Windows 7 E which disables and removes Internet Explorer 8 (IE8), has been prepared with RTM of Windows 7.

Note: Standard Windows 7 will be published and distributed to European end-users unless regardless of European Commission decision on the new Ballot Screen proposal, which will render Windows 7 E obsolete and cease to exist.

Hack to Install Windows 7, Vista or Server 2008 On Computer or Virtual Machine with Less Than 512 MB RAM Memory

Officially Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 minimum system hardware specifications (see Windows 7 system requirements and Windows Vista system requirements) requires more than 512 MB of RAM physical memory, though Microsoft recommends 1 GB minimum memory is most production scenarios. As such, the install wizard does not allow setup process to go through when the system memory is less than 512 MB when installing Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 on PC computer or virtual machine. The setup wizard will halt and force stop installation process with the following error message.

Some webmasters or bloggers like to have their web pages refresh or reload automatically after a period of time, either to increase the page views, or to increase the ads revenue that based on CPM model. The web pages can ask a web browser such as Firefox to automatically refresh a page after a given timeout by including the HTML element <meta http-equiv=”refresh”>, or instruct web servers to send a Refresh: HTTP header.
