Windows 7 Build 7260 is thought by many to be the RTM build of Windows 7, which if it’s true, the final Windows 7 released to consumer will have build version 6.1.7260.0. The assumption was mainly caused by the fact that Windows 7 Build 7260 is the first build to have win7_rtm as its branch. Actually Windows 7 is just one of the candidate for RTM, and has since been leaked to Internet.

Download 64-bit Windows 7 Build 7232 VHD and Installation ISO

Only 32-bit (x86) version of Windows 7 Build 7231 was leaked, but 64-bit lover can take heart that a 64-bit (x64) version of Windows 7 Build 7232, a newer build has also been leaked to Internet, and available for download via BitTorrent network. However, similar to Windows 7 Build 7227 and 7231, the leak is also in VHD virtual hard disk format, which may be useless for some non-technical people.

Another pre-RTM build of Windows 7 has been leaked. This time it’s Windows 7 Build 7231 been released in VHD (Virtual Hard Disk) image format, similar to how Windows 7 Build 7227 was leaked. Windows 7 Build 7231 has the complete build tag of 7231.0.x86fre.winmain.090608-1900, representing that the build was compiled and signed off on June 8, 2009, and is from winmain branch.

Download Windows Server 2008 and 7 Build 7229 32-bit and 64-bit with MUI Language Packs ISO

Windows 7 Build 7229 has leaked to Internet. The full build tag string for Windows 7 Build 7229 is 6.1.7229.0.winmain.090604-1901, which indicating it’s compiled and signed off on June 4th, 2009. Unlike Windows 7 Build 7227, the leaked Windows 7 Build 7229 is of winmain branch, which will likely be the branch where the final Windows 7 RTM will come from.

Download Windows 7 Build 7227 Service Pack 1 (SP1) x86 VHD and ISO

The next build of Windows 7 that is leaked to Internet after Windows 7 Build 7201 was Windows 7 Build 7227 with SP1. However, the leak is in the form of VHD virtual hard disk image. It means that the image is meant for mounting into virtual machine with similar hardware specifications. Anyway, the build tag for Windows 7 Build 7227 is 7227.0.winmain_sp.090602-2110, which indicates that the build is signed off on June 2nd, 2009, and is from Windows 7 SP1 branch.

Drag and Drop Feature in Gmail Labeling Toolkit

Gmail has rolled out another great feature recently. This time they have enhanced the Gmail‘s labeling toolkit, which is located on the left panel of your inbox (or on the right if you are using Arabic, Hebrew or Urdu version) that contains any personal folders either created by you or the default folders come together with Gmail account such as Personal, Travel, Contacts, Trash, Spam and etc. This enhancement has made labeling even easier and more importantly, it helps you stay organized with proper folder arrangement at own preference.
