I have been using with my iPhone and iPad, but since the software upgrade to ios5 on my iPhone, I have not been able to use the wireless bluetooth headset. Is there a reset on the headset so that my iPhone can sync with it since the upgrade?
I have these headphones and love'em, thanks a lot for review. Cheers.
This headset is great for use with your phone for either listening to music or taking calls. I have the Tilt 2 and it works flawlessly. I have not been terribly careful with it, and it has taken the abuse. The battery life is unbelievable. You can listen to hours of music and a week or more of phone calls without recharging.
The difficulty comes when you want to take it to the next level and use your headset with your PC. I cannot find a way of connecting to a WindowsXP machine short of purchasing a software like Blue Soliel for managing your PAN. As much as I like using bluetooth, I shouldn't have to spend another $30 to use my headset. Iexpected more from Altec Lansing and Plantronics. (Both of whom have their fingerprints on this device) Do a little research and you will see that everyone is having this problem with the backbeat 903. I suppose buying the 906 would have eliminated the issue, but I already had a bluetooth adapter on my PC. I can see the headset, but there are no services associated with it to be able to port the audio to it without a WIDDCOM (or similar) driver.
I just got this headset and use it with my BlackBerry Tour 9630 and I LOVE THEM!!! They work great!!! Music is clear, and calls are clear and caller on other end can hear me fine.
I got a pair of these as a replacement for a barely used Plantronics Voyager 855 stereo headset. I used them ONCE at the gym during a standard, typically sweaty workout. That ONE workout killed them.
I will not buy another pair of these items until they provide a very solid guarantee of sweat resistance. I am going to try a pair of Jaybirds and see how that works out.
The headset works excelent on iPhone, albeit without track forward/back.
iPhone after release 3.1? supports A2DP and so doesn't require the separate adapater anymore.
iPhone has no AVRCP and as such is not compatible with the forward / back track select.
the iPhone doesn't support AVRCP so that's why you can't use the unit's control
Powerbutton sometimes stops working. You have to reset the headphone.
While plugging in the AC charger, hold the power/pair button. The headphones will show a solid red or blue light when they have been successfully reset. Then leave fully charge. Everything fine thereafter. I give highest rating to this product. Best so far and I tried many bluetooth stereo headsets. Achievement.
I love these wireless headphones, but Raymond is correct. You cannot use the forward or back controls on the headphones to control music for the iPhone. I am somewhat confused as the dongle they provide doesn't support AVRCP which would allow me to have the forward back controls? And they created both of these pieces? Anyway, just having stereo wireless bluetooth headphones is enough for me at the moment. Anything is better than wired headphones for the iPhone.
For those of you interested in getting this for your iPhone, it's a nice unit, but the box is misleading (or I'm an idiot). It doesn't allow you to control the iPhone from the headphones, even with the bluetooth adapter working. Will be taking it back to the Apple store pronto.
wow this is really great.looks very nice.the sound quality and noice reduction technology are superb.user will have great fun with this surely…
