Motorola and Verizon Wireless have officially announced the upcoming launch of new high-performance, powerful DROID X by Motorola, in what likely to be another “iPhone killer”. It’s the full-featured Android smartphone that combines an array of impressive features including high-resolution 4.3″ touchscreen, 8MP camera, 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM, WiFi 802.11b/g/n and Google Android 2.2 OS upgrade with Adobe Flash Player 10.1 support.

The new Motorola DROID X smartphone which measures 2.6 x 5.0 x 0.4 inches and weights in at 5.47 ounces is slated to hit Verizon Wireless stores starting July 15 for $199.99, after a $100 mail-in rebate with a new 2-year service contract.
