Hello,
I installed Office Professional Plus 2010 Beta but have been unable to open Outlook. (Not even once.) I get a very brief view of Outlook, then an error message saying that "Microsoft Outlook has stopped working… A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."
I am using Vista Service Pack 2. (64 bit)
*I installed the 32 bit version of Office even though my machine is running the 64 bit OS (as suggested on the Microsoft page)
*I did uninstall my old Office 2007 before I installed 2010
I have searched the formum and tried the following suggestions:
*I have tried to "Run Program as Administrator" by checking the box …didn't work for me
*I did try to open Outlook through Program Files by right clicking and clicking the "Run as Administrator"
*I have uninstalled and reinstalled Office 2010
PLEASE help if you have any ideas. I am not an IT professional, so please speak in layman's terms in your response.
