Información bonito, realmente aprecio la forma en que presented. Thanks para compartir
would my itouch 3g flip case be to big for the itouch 4g ,as in exagerrated too big or just lose but usable?
i have a big prob. i wan to hav an itouch 4g 32gb but my budget abit tight. but 8gb abit insufficient. so my fren suggest me to take itouch 3g. but after read thru some review, i tink it is slightly worse than 4g. so cn giv me some opinions? tx alot
Actually,Itouch can be use to make a call ,text etc…But then the problem is wifi right? you ever heard about a device called mobile wifi?which look exactly like a phone, you can put a data sim card on it,you can charge it,and it’s obviously mobile..just take that with you,and you’re good to go with your Itouch….this is probably for you guys who already have Itouch and thinking of upgrading to Iphone….Itouch is really a fine product,I myself have this mobile wifi with me,and it works.try it,the mobile wifi is affordable, the one I use is huawei , didn’t know if any other company make the same thing though.
but where to find that device? i mean that device which can make itouch become a phone.
The itouch 4G with iOS5 has a built-in app for texting is called iMessage, it uses your apple ID. Also for the 3G in the app store there are plenty of Text apps, my nieces are using textmenow, and for a fee you can make phone calls, they provide you with a phone number; but only thru Wi-Fi.
Thanks for the details ….
can i get cammera for my ipod 3g …cuz there is not camera on it ?
plz ur answers
and i still have gliteches on my iPodtouch 4G 4.3.1 update! they make an update(4.3.1) to fix glitches, but i still have em'! just not as much.
i think they should mkae it so you have a text app instead of gettking a boring one on the store and put EMOJICONS ON IT!
uh yeah you can make phone calls and text from your ipod touch. theres apps for those…
I think the iPod Touch is a good product, but really don't understand why Apple chose to ignore Bluetooth connectivity.
There are so many terrific Bluetooth wireless headsets that would be a great add-on to the Touch.
At least you can use them with an adaptor. Still, it's lame if you ask me.
re: willyumm
You're sadly mistaken if you think your ipod can make phone calls…. or you need to put down the crack pipe you're smoking.
hey yes u can call on the i pod dumbo
yes u can dumbass all u need to do is download apps. Jeez u should c theripissed
actually you are wrong you can make phone calls, with your ipod 4 g probably even with a 3g, i know i can and done it, you just need wifi but its doable,
Haha! a crackpipe reference in2011!!!
4g also has 256 mb ram not 512
Honestly the only thing that prevents iPod touch totally out selling iphones is the fact that it's not a phone. Apple selectively takes away a small feature that people will consider but not complain about such as flash for the camera. But the retina display and faster processing speeds of 4g is what sold me on it. And I swear im done updgrading. I think.
response to bugvey:
You are stupid. I have an ipod touch 4G and I can text and make phone calls. You just aren't smart enough to do it. Jackass.
i think the ipod 4g is nice but they shoulder put a wall charger in the pack
Response to Jules
The iPod Touch is, and always has been, an iPhone without the ability to make phone calls or text messages.
Actually, you CAN make calls and you CAN text on it. My cousins have it and i found a calling and texting app for them AND its completely free. You're OBVIOUSLY a blonde. So if you need me to make it understandable THERE ARE APPS FOR CALLING AND TEXTING IN THE APP STORE. YOU KNOW, THAT LITTLE BLUE ICON THATS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SCREEN? Yerp. Just click it and type in text plus, sorry but i forgot what the calling one is called.
Does iPod 4g have 5 megpixel camera like iPhone
Yes you can use 3g apps on 4g and vice versa, just some wont work because the 3g doesnt have the camaras.
Unbelievable. Apple is too cheap to include the dock adapters with the 4th gen iPod Touch (though they were included with the 3rd gen). Will be waiting another week or so to be able to use it with the built-in dock on my stereo. And $9 for three curved pieces of plastic? Give me break.
We bought our 23 y.o. son an IPOD Plus (4) for XMas. Just found out he's had a v.3 for about a year.
Should we return the one we got and get him something else or go ahead and give him the newer version for the additional functionality?
Many Thanks.
Do you have to have WiFi to connect? You know how you have to be around a server to get on facebook(example) or can you get on it without a server?
can I play all the apps of 4g in 3g?
apps are my reason for thinking about buying the 4g instead of just the 3g.
The Ipod 4g is T%TALLY better than the 3g.
the 3rd generation dosent have a 8gb…… the 8gb 3rd generation is the same as the second. apple just tried to make it so that they could make more money and technically lie. idk if the things about the ram is right but it probably isnt because if the ipod 4g has to use facetime it has to have a better ram. so the only phisical difference between the ipod 4th and third is the camera and it is like 5 millimeters thinner. the camera isnt even wrth it if you have a phone for 50$ more when u can get a new third for only 230. so actually its 70$ more
so if i wanted to buy a 8g itouch, for my 14 year old daughter, would it be a waste of money to buy the newest version for $230 when i can get a referbished one, but 3rd generation for only $150?
Do both ipods have the same apps that a 14 year old would want?
The iPod touch 4g has the same amount of ram as the 3g
They both have 256mb ram
sorry to inform, but the 4G i-pod touch has 256 and not 512 MB or R.A.M.
the only differences actually are
1)A4 processor(1Ghz)underclocked to 800MhZ
2)The camera Obviously!!
3)Retina display
4)In-built Gyroscope for better motion sensing while gaming….
the iPod Touch 3g also has a built in speaker
This isn't accurate The 3g model can come with 8gb and the new model can come with apple headphones with mic and remote (only on 32gb and 64gb models_ – which is the same is previous version
Sorry but Apple should concentrate more on fixing its broken products then to introduce new ones. Hey, you can't blame them for trying to cover up a solution for the iPhone
Plus has anyone heard about why Apple would not allow its products to be tested by O2? It was a simple questionnaire that they had to fill out.
