How to Remove Facebook Profile from Search Engines
Because you are an active Facebook user, it is probably not advisable for your name and Facebook profile to be indexed and appear on search engines such as Yahoo, Bing, Google, etc. You might not be keen to let your parents or employer know you have been spending so much time in Facebook. For that reason or other privacy reasons, it is better to remove or conceal your identity so that you are not so well exposed.
To hide yourself from being viewed publicly and to prevent others from finding you using search engines, some simple setting in the Facebook account will do the trick. Users just need to log in to their Facebook account. Then go to Account -> Privacy Setting and click on the “Search” icon.
Finally, users just need to uncheck the Public Search Results and Click “Confirm” when a confirmation box is prompted.
