How to Remove and Uninstall Internet Explorer 9 (IE9)
IE9 (Internet Explorer 9) is nice great enhancement and improvement for many Windows 7 and Windows Vista users, however, not all people is having a positive experience. IE9, especially IE9 Beta users have faced various issues, errors and problems such as random crash, page not responding, not compliant with websites, not working on e-commerce sites, automatic page stop working and reloading, and worse, some users can’t even install IE9 properly.
For people who still feel uncomfortable to use IE9, here’s the way to uninstall and get rid of IE9. After installing, Windows Vista and Windows 7 will automatically revert and bring back IE7 and/or IE8 as previously installed on the system.
- Open Control Panel, then go to Programs -> Programs and Features or Uninstall a program.

Alternatively, just type appwiz.cpl into Start Search area and hit Enter.
- Click on View installed updates link in left sidebar.

- Click to select and highlight Windows Internet Explorer 9, and then click on Uninstall button in toolbar or right-click on the update and select Uninstall option.

- Restart PC when prompted. After restarting, IE9 will be removed from the system.

Can’t find IE9 in my “Installed Update or Installed Program”. Is there any way I can find in my pc system the IE9??? Please anybody…..
explorer9 freezes and crashes my computer.
how to downgrade IE9 to IE7 without losing my saved bookmark & favourites?
I also had same problem with new IE9. Then i disable all 3rd party toolbar extension add-ons (Tools -> manage add-one).
Now not responding issue has been resolved. Can browse site without problem.
IE9 is not working properly. I am unable to reinstall without first uninstalling. Problem is the IE9 (not beta, but final version) is not listed in the programs file in the control panel. Any workaround to uninstall it?

explorer 9 SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
Yep it is soooooooo slow on my computer it is like having 'dial up again', it also makes shockwave crash – and now it won't even let me uninstall it!!!!!!! – every time I try (and I have tried soooooo many ways!!!!) I get the message "An error has occurred – Not all the updates were successfully uninstalled". Microsoft are absolutely no help, so I have reverted to Google Chrome – fast and simple!
I wish I had not installed IE9, its not so easy to work with plus where my favourites tab was its vanished, I do not know how to access my favourites now, I looked to MS instructions about adding and deleting web sites, where it says sign in and go to edit, edit which should be next to the favourites tab, but no favourites tab, any help would be grateful. I think I will have to use another search engine for the moment like Google and hope my favourites can be transfered to that, I agree with one person's comment where he said don't try to get rid of it or it may break? so I will leave well alone for now, if I can find how to use my favourites as I did in IE7 & 8.
INternet 9 was not on the list, what do I do about that!!!

My advice for what its worth is that if you have a (mostly) working version of IE whether IE8 or 9 or whatever
Don't touch it
Leave it alone so that it can do updates
If you try to upgrade it, downgrade it or even use it for browsing it will probably break and then you can't do any updates.
Use a different browser for everyday use and leave IE to do updates only
There are lots of browsers to choose from
If you are really keen on using IE then at least download another browser SOON so that when IE stops working you can get some online help.
good work man. very usefull.
I couldn't even drag the IE9 window
