When a user installs a user script, Greasemonkey script or JavaScript in Google Chrome, the user script will be installed as an extension for Google Chrome, just like a typical Google Chrome extension, which add more features and functionality to the web browser.

Thus, in order to disable and deactivate or remove and uninstall a Greasemonkey user script, just follow the same procedure to manage, uninstall or remove an extension in Chromium:

  1. In Google Chrome, click on Wrench icon (Tools menu), and select Extensions.

Alternatively, type the following command in address bar:

    chrome://extensions/

  2. A list of installed extensions, including the user scripts will be displayed, and can be managed. Just click on the respective Uninstall link to remove the user script extension, or Disable link to deactivate the JavaScript extension.
