  • Comodo's Geekbuddy service is awesome. If your are installing comodo in an infected system use the Geekbuddy service, they will explain to you how to recover your system.

  • Wow, Thanks for sharing the link. I hope it is better than Trend Micro.

  • I like your post !!!!:)

  • i like this digital life .info

    • comodo internet security is most power full

      thanks,

  • I was very disappointed with this software and here's why : Firstly I did a full scan of my system; which was a fresh copy of windows. Comodo found 3 low risk Infections, then recommended I use Geekbuddy to help remove them, not that that was a difficult task but I went along with it. A rep came to my assistance and asked..'what can I do for you today?' I told him I was recommended to use his assistance in cleaning up my PC of 3 low risk Infections. He then suggested I upgrade the comodo for a certain price because this particular software doesn't remove malware! well I was dumbfounded by this..how rude, instead of an expert I get a sales rep and then to turn round and say it doesn't remove malware really made me angry. This made my mind up about Comdo to never to use them again so I uninstalled with that in mind. I've been using Comodo for a number of years until this episode. Thanks alot Comodo but no thanks I no longer trust you.

    • @Bourney:

      I also experienced the same…

Also, comodo IS is a full crap, it sucks when utorrent or torrent applications were used, and when the torrents have lot of IPs connected, the PC slowed down due to Comodo IS starts consuming much pc resource..

Internet Security and Antiviruses are just simple medicines for common viruses, they should use system resource as like the Googletalk or someother background programs, but this crap eats 100% of my pc, and also sucks with the Fontcache service of Win7..

To my experience, Avira is excellent in Scanning speed and Threat detection, well sophisticated real-time scanner, and after trying several shits, i onceagain installed the Avira Premium security.

Not advertising, to my experience, its the no.1 tiny weapon, scanned my 4TB datas in just 3hrs with high detection rate and very less falsepositive…!

  • First time I try, I will evaluate and will comment further on the quality of the product, remember that the best antivirus is the one sitting at the computer.

    Thanks.

  • I actually like COMODO alot, I used the Internet Security Premium(the free version) for more than 1 year. Despite of it asking a lot questions for permissions, etc., but I never annoyed with it because they did it for our own good. Most people don't like it because it keep asking about unknown apps. It's not that bad actually.

    • That's exact why I like the older version of Zone Alarm Free. They had a setting that allowed you to select manual during installation. What that did was allowed nothing, and I mean nothhing, to connect to the net except ZA itself without your permission. As each app asked for permission you could say always or never and then you never saw a popup from that again unless its exe file was updated and then you had to give permission again (like updating browser versions and going from one anti-virus version to the next). Commodo was the only other firewall that was similar. It got a little getting used to but once set it was nearly identical to ZA free version 8. Once ZA went to version 9 free it wouldn't allow you to do an easy manual setting any more. I guess it was there way to say PAY FOR IT! Later when Commodo updated it version at that time the manual setting was even more close to the old ZA and I loved it. The one thing about both was when a program tried to trick you with "Windows Explorer is trying to connect to the net" even though you new you just installed something and it wasn't WE trying but the program you just installed. When that happened I always selected to deny or allow but without the always or never check box so it wouldn't be set for the next time, because sometimes I would let it and sometimes not.

  • Is Comodo Internet Security such a disappointment as Comodo Time Machine that crashes a Win7 PC?! So beside being helpless they want us to pay for it as well?!

  • Is GeekBuddy included?

  • hey thanks for the news i will check and try. like comodo producs lets see whats pro version.

  • I use the free version of Commodo on my XP64 OS since the stupid people at Zone Alarm refuse to support XP64. The free version does OK but I'm guessing this full version will be more comprehensive. Even though this artical says Commodo has high marks for security, most reviews I see are not so kind. The fact that it supports an OS that others ignore says a lot about their customer support base though, and I for one appreciate their efforts.
