A new version of iOS has been released, though it’s still not yet the highly anticipated iOS 5. The new version of iOS is version 4.3.5, with the exception of iPhone 4 CDMA (Verizon) version which upgraded to version 4.2.10, and was released barely a week after the release of iOS 4.3.4/iOS 4.2.9 which patched a vulnerability on PDF viewing that been used a jailbreak exploit.

The next version of iOS (previously known as iPhone OS), iOS 5 has been announced but not yet available for general public at least until Fall 2011. Most expects it to be officially released in September 2011. But the beta version of iOS 5 has been made available as free download to developers. You can’t just register for a developer account to get access to iOS 5 Beta though, as to enroll in iOS Developer Program, it costs $99 annually, whereas free registration only gets you development tools without the iOS 5 Beta and without the ability to activate iOS 5.

The Apple office suite iWork which was previously only available for iPad is now available for iPhone and iPod touch. iWork is a productivity app comprising Keynote, Pages and Number for users to create formatted documents, spreadsheets and presentations slides. You may have categorize all your favorite apps and store them into folders for better searching in iOS devices but when the quantity grows tremendously, it becomes very inconvenience to delete the folder as users will need remove all the apps from the folder one by another. If you are looking for faster way to remove folders especially those with full of apps, here is a simple tweak from Cydia that you can utilize to get it done. Named as Unfolder, it allows users to delete any folders (regardless if there are full lists of apps) by simply tapping on the ‘X’ sign just like the way to delete apps on Springboard.
