Sony quiere el primer nuevo Azul-rayo del jugador del principio por este verano que capaz de descargar el material de la prima tenga gusto de los acoplados y de los juegos del Internet. Tiene dos jugadores, BDP-S350 y BDP-S550.

Ambos jugadores pueden demostrar el contenido del cuadro-en-cuadro y serán los primeros jugadores del Azul-rayo de Sony a hacer así pues, aparte de la consola del juego de PlayStation 3, que ganó esta característica vía la actualización del software el año pasado. La característica del cuadro-en-cuadro, llamada Bonus View, se puede utilizar para demostrar el director o el comentario del agente en una ventana pequeña mientras que la película juega.

Vudu acaba de anunciar la raya vertical del precio de su caja superior determinada (de alta definición) del vídeo famoso de HD por 25 por ciento esta semana debido a la situación del mercado competitivo. The new price of around $295, is quite a significant adjustment from its original retail price of $399. This has made it more competitive to what Apple TV has offered to consumers so far. The new price will be effective immediately and for those that have just bought the set top box from Vudu last month (within 30 days of the announcement), there will be a $100 rebate voucher given to compensate the price difference.

UPDATE: Paramount spokeswoman Brenda Ciccone made this statement in response to reports that Paramount is abandoning the HD-DVD format: “Paramount’s current plan is to continue to support the HD-DVD format.” The statement didn’t specify if Paramount would also produce Blu-ray DVDs in addition to HD-DVDs. It will be interesting to see how this story pans out.

I just gave the bad news to one of the guys in the Toshiba booth at CES. He wasn’t happy. Their HD-DVD focused booth looks a little silly now.

Christie has just launched a new DLP projector with HD (High Definition) capability.
Known as HD405, it is the first HD projector in the industrial that able to deliver HD resolution of up to 1920 X 1080 with single-chip DLP (Digital Light Processing) support. DLP is a trademark owned by TI (Texas Intrument) which has been widely deployed in projectors development.
