Acer Aspire AS1410 Olympic Edition With 11.6″ LED-backlight Display

In order to celebrate the upcoming 2010 Vancouver Olympic Winter Games, Acer has announced the limited Edition of their CULV ultra-portable notebook – Aspire AS1410. The latest ultra-portable laptop is equipped with 11.6-inch LED-backlight display with 1366 x 768 pixels resolution and Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics card to control the graphic. In addition, the Aspire AS1410 comes with 1.2GHz Intel Dual Core Celeron SU2300 processor, up to 4GB of RAM and 250GB HDD. Furthermore, it integrated with WiFi a/g/n and gigabit Ethernet that enable fast access to the web and social networks. The laptop also comes with speakers and Dolby Sound Room audio technology that can enhancement to deliver lifelike sound for enjoying videos, movie and music.

Intel Atom Cedarview Initial Specification with DDR3, DisplayPort and 32nm Process Technology

We have been seeing a series of Intel Atom processors with some already monopolizing nettop and netbook markets and in order to continue the momentum, the giant chipmaker is in progress to come out with newer version of Atom processors targeted for various applications. As most of us are still expecting the arrival of Pineview, some information of newer and much powerful version is already available now. Codenamed as Cedarview, it will be based on 32nm process technology that can shrink the size further while able to pack more feature sets for system performance boost.

Asus Plans to Integrate Nvidia Ion Solution in Future Eee Nettop and Netbook Series

Lenovo IdeaPad FL5-B3 as the First Intel Atom Pineview Nettop

Intel Atom is getting good traction and is currently dominating nettop market with a series of processors under this family. In order to continue its momentum, the giant chipmaker is planning to launch its successor, codenamed as Pineview combining with its TigerPoint chipset offering two-chip solution for much effective board design with lower BOM (Bill of Material) cost. While most of us are still waiting for its availability targeted by early next year, a recent FCC filing has disclosed that the first Pinetrail based netbook could be provided by Lenovo under one of its IdeaPad series.
