As previously reported, Microsoft has released the official release candidate version of Windows Vista SP2 and Windows Server 2008 SP2 (both is KB948465) to selected testers via Microsoft Connect and Windows Update, with build version 6002.16670.090130-1715, compiled on January 30, 2009. The true Windows Vista SP2 RC and Windows Server 2008 SP2 RC (both is same) has been leaked.

Whenever you save a new file, the Save As window will pop up where you can choose the file type, enter the file name and select the location to save the file. Windows Vista has displayed a list of standard locations such as Desktop, Computer, Picture and etc under Favorite Links to ease your selection to save the file to any one of the standard locations. If you have your own favorite folders and you wish to display them under Favorite Links by default whenever Save As windows pop up, you can add them with simple trick.

How to Kill Windows Explorer Processes Easily in Windows Vista

The normal way to terminate Windows Explorer’s processes is to go to Task Manager, look for Explorer.exe under Processes tab, then right clicking on it and select End Process, or using Taskkill command. How To Add Move or Copy To in Windows Explorer Right Click Context Menu in Windows Vista

To copy or move file from one folder to another folder, we normally go to the source folder, copy or cut the file, then browse for the destination folder within the same explorer or open up another window explorer to paste the file. Now there is an easier way for you to browse through the destination folder by selecting Copy To Folder or Move To Folder in the right click context menu in Windows Explorer, By doing so, a window will be pop up that lets you to choose the destination folder to move the file to. This is a hidden functionality in Windows Vista and you can add this function to the right click context by doing simple registry hack.

Windows Vista SP2 RC 6002.16659 v.275 (32bit and 64bit) Standalone Update and Full ISO Download

Windows Vista SP2 may be delayed for a month, with RTM (Release to Manufacturing) now scheduled to be delivered to OEM and retailers on second quarter of 2009. Consequently, the Release Candidate for Windows Vista Service Pack 2, possibly the last public beta build to make available after Windows Vista and Server 2003 SP2 Beta released in December 2008, will only be released on March, with only escrow build for selected testers available in February. The Escrow Build, unlike the Normal Build, is a build where development halts, and developers and beta testers start testing the product for any show-stopper bugs.
