WinAutomation is a dream of an application. I’m an online marketer and a lot of my work depends on doing little repetitive tasks on the computer. Currently these tasks need to be outsourced, and outsourcing takes up my time (for training people), has an ongoing cost attached (in maintaining these workers) and still has room for human error and.. well headaches! But once I found out about WinAutomation, I knew all these could be eliminated!
I’ve been trying out the trial version and it’s amazing the type of things it can do. Basically anything you need done on the computer CAN be automated with WinAutomation. Currently I get the program to Resave files in different formats, submit articles to article directories and submit sites to social bookmarking sites.
There is a little bit of a learning curve, but compared to a lot of other Automation programs out there, this is really easy to learn and pick up (even for newbs who don’t know any programming language). A lot of it is drag and drop, and the Macro Recorder makes things super quick and easy.
In fact, my boyfriend who knows NOTHIGN about programming, had his first automated task made in WinAutomation after 20 minutes of playing around with it. I was actually pretty amazed because I didn’t think he’d pick it up THAT fast.
I guess that’s how easy this program is to use.
Definitely give it a try, it’ll save you time, money and double or triple your productivity in your business or personal life!

I could use this application to automate a number of processes..such as backing up my websites, renaming and automatically uploading pictures to my websites, etc.
For someone lazy like me we always find ways to utilize macros and scripts to help make things easier.

Automation increases your potentiality to achieve more results with the same resources. It works as a force multiplier. A windows automation software with a macro recorder can easily do the tough job for you.
Things like chokepoints, inefficient integration of multiple processes and costly delays will never happen again.

It can be set to uses a combination of simulated keystrokes, mouse movement and window/control manipulation in order to automate tasks in a way not possible or reliable with other languages (e.g. VBScript and SendKeys). Create Task Scheduler and Create Task Trigger so that to Automize a variety of tasks, including ftp transfers, ftp monitoring, web downloads, web site monitoring, email checking and sending, telnet, ping, directory monitoring, and particularly remote task control. Bypass security softwares so that the choosen tasks can be runned easily and faster.

WinAutomation looks to be the perfect tool that can “make my life easier”, and I thank you for the opportunity to obtain a free license.
There are a number of tasks that I perform daily that I would love to be able to automate, and this tool seems to be the perfect fit. For example, I could see using this software to automate running Mailwasher, launching Windows Live mail and checking specific email accounts, automatically launching a number of desktop application that I use daily, automating frequent actions I perform in my Quicken banking software, automating the backing up critical files using the built in Zip features of WinAutomation, synchronizing key folders, automatically running my defrag application, and backing up a websites I maintain (on the side) for a band that I am that we use for collaboration using the built in ftp capabilities of WinAutomation.
So in summary I would absolutely love to get a full version license of WinAutomation, and promise to write about my experience working with the automation software on software review sites that I frequent.

Well, This app is one in my long-waited list!
1. With this I want to automate the build process of my work (involves many bath files and environment setup verification; though I m using Ant/maven few such tasks are not that much easy with out a batch script).
2. Some times I needed to decompile the build which in production to make sure that the code I thought I placed is there or not. Generally I’ll do it with Cavaj. I wanted to automated this so that all the project class files are decompiled automatically.
3. To same the images I opened in the Firefox tabs (Yeah, Firefox got some addons, I know)
And, for bit fun too… to fool friends…

This is something I was looking for. It takes me about 15 minutes to log into every application after restart and process the same files every day but that would let me just wait untill it gets the job done

Winautomation is absolutely a powerful program. It can be used by Syatem Administrator,IT Administrator also End User. I am a advanced user who don’t know programming language and I need some programs whichs works like I wanted, for example: backing up a folder just one click, logging a site, sennding an e-mail with triggers, etc… Now I have tried Winautomation and I see this program is like I wanted. Because, using Winautomation is really very easy. Also, if you want to make advanced macros, you can make them too. Winautomation has a lots of functions, some of them: Conditionals, loops, flow controls, wariables etc… I really want to get this program so much.

Unfortunately, I cannot read DRM protected lit, prc and pdb eBooks – which I have purchased, not pirated! – on my new portable eBook reader. The only way I can see to obtain a readable version of a secure eBook – for personal use! – is to open the book to page 1 on my desktop PC, selectively grab a capture of the text area (only) of the eBook page, transfer the image to an OCR program (JOCR) to get the text onto the clipboard, paste the text into Notepad++, click on the screen to go to the next page of the ebook, select and grab an image of the text area, return to JOCR, copy text to clipboard, append to previous text in Notepad++, click on screen to go to next ebook page, etc, etc. VERY laborious if done page by page by page manually!! WinAutomation would make the task so much simpler! I have many dozens of secure eBooks to process in this way (I repeat, they are purchased, not pirated). Thanks for your consideration.
