Sony Ericsson Xperia X3 with Android 2.0 OS Availability by End of Year
We have talked about Sony Ericsson First Android Smartphone initial specification leak earlier and now there are further details and confirmation of this upcoming device as the most powerful Android smartphone based on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processor. Codenamed as Rachel, the new mobile device will be officially named as X3 as an additional model under its famous XPERIA family.

With the processor speed clocking at 1GHz, Snapdragon provides necessary processing power exceeding what being required by consumer space with its excellent CPU performance and HD graphics rendering while able to keep its power consumption lower thanks to its thermally efficient ARM core architecture. Suitable to be used in most of the regions, X3 is compatible with Quad band GSM with 850/900/1800/1900MHz cellular networks and at the same time it is able to support latest HSDPA, HSUPA and WCDMA ultra high bandwidth networks with up to 10Mbps. Other specifications included a 8-Megapixel camera module, a relatively large 4-inch 852X480 resolutions touch sensitive LCD display, Wi-Fi 802.11g as well as A-GPS (Assisted GPS) module for frequent travelers.
The X3 is expected to be ready anytime soon by end of this year even though some do believe that it could potentially delay until early next year. It will be preloaded with latest Android 2.0 so that consumers can get the full advantage out from its processing power with great web browsing experience and high graphics performance while on the move.
