Samsung Blue Earth – Environment-Friendly Phone With Full Touch Screen Features
As part of the commitment to protect the environment, Samsung has launched its environmentally-friendly phone Samsung Blue Earth which has unveiled at Mobile World Congress in early 2009. The environmentally-friendly phone has been featured with full touch screen and multimedia playback capabilities. The phone is made from Post Consumer Material (PCM) which is extracted from used water bottles, in an effort to reduce fuel consumption and carbon emissions during manufacturing process. The phone and its charger are free from phthalate, brominates flame retardants (BFR), and polyvinyl chloride (PVC).

Moreover, the phone is features with a touch interface with an eco-friendly theme, robust power management tools, has built-in pedometer and a CO2 emission reduction calculator as well as comes with a
5-star energy efficient charges that consumes about 0.03W in stand by mode.
Main key features of the phone:
- 3.0-inch TFT LCD touch screen.
- 3.2-megapixel camera with face detection.
- Supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
- 130MB internal memory.
- Supports up to 16GB of microSDHC card.
- Weighs at 199 grams.
- Measurement of 108mm x 53.6mm x 14.2mm.
- Supports video recording and playback.

The Samsung Blue Earth is expected to launch in Sweden by this month and will available soon in other countries like France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Portugal and etc.

Cool consept i think the compony is doing its best to keepin the enviroment ‘happy’ bt one other thing they should keep in mind is that not all can afford to buy a desirable phone that is highly beneficial for the humans bt they should lower the prices to be affordable because the current technology thats being handed out is not even 50% close to what we should be using due to how advance we are now.bt keep up the good work i wish i could help make this a better place…peace
