Toshiba Qosmio X500 High End Laptop Targeted for Gaming and Multimedia Usages
With the increase demand of higher performance PC computing targeted for mobile users, Toshiba has been continuously upgrading its notebook product lines and during the recent IDF (Intel Developer Forum), it just announced one of its most powerful laptops, dubbed as Qosmio X500 targeted for PC gamers.

Powered by Intel Core i7 processor clocking at 1.6GHz (normal mode) or up to 2.8GHz (in turbo mode) and supported by high bandwidth DDR3 system memory, the machine is aimed at mainstream users with great performance in mind. In order to support high graphics requirements, it has been enhanced with Nvidia’s GeForce GTS250M with huge 1GB GDDR5 video memory, on top of 1TB hard disk drive and 8GB memory RAM. Besides, it integrates an internal ultra wide screen LCD panel with 18.4-inch diagonal size as well as a HDMI-CEC video display port so that consumers can make full use of its graphics and processing power for greater gaming and multimedia experiences. Not to be lack behind, the machine has been enhanced with Harman Kardon stereo speaker system, offering crystal clear audio level ideal to be used in both office and home environment. To make it a perfect multimedia solution, the Japanese PC maker has added Blu-ray player as it forecasts the needs to have it in future mobile computing and even in existing market requirements.
No pricing information yet, the Qosmio X500 will be preloaded with Windows 7 and is expected to reach commercial market by end of next month.
