tc deluxe v12 on amazon since October 2, 2001 according to http://www.amazon.com/IMSI-TurboCAD-Deluxe-12/dp/B000I6O020#productDetails (and, “No customer reviews yet”, so maybe read later versions reviews?)
obviously, tc 12 is better than the barebones TC LE (older).
google around for progecad 2008 free.
also newish doublecad xt is 2d only. haven’t used any but tc le, ottokrap, and some older. so no idea how they compare regards common file formats, 3d, import, export, link, printing, render, import “texture/blp/whatever”, etc.
