In fact, not only commercial products for small and medium businesses, governments and enterprises is having official Windows 7 compatible drivers. Many consumer desktop and laptop PC for home and home office consumers already have Windows 7 compliant and signed drivers posted. Anyway, if there is still no Windows 7 drivers listed for your Dell product, just check back again in future.
Both 32-bit (x86) and 64-bit (x64) Windows 7 drivers are available, depending on Dell product support availability. Dell is one of the first OEM (original equipment manufacturers) to release Windows 7 drivers for its products, and serve as a wake up call to other OEMs, especially popular brands such as HP, Acer, Lenovo, Toshiba, Sony, Gateway, ASUS and etc.

indeed, this is a load of crap.
since they have discontinued XPS M1530 they will not come out with drivers. they did not even agree with me installing windows 7 and would not provide any assistance with the problems i’ve encountered. They simply said, you should call “Dell On Call” which charges a ton of money to just connect to them… and i am not so positive as to Dell being one of the first OEMs to provide drivers for win7. actually they might be at the bottom of the list. my friends have HP’s, Asus, Toshiba, Sony laptops, even older than my XPS M1530 (for which i paid almost full 2k and my warranty expires in mid 2011) and they got drivers for their laptops the moment they installed win7. I am indeed mildly disappointed with Dell. They brag so much about customer service this, customer service that… I wouldnt be surprised if my next purchase was an Asus or HP. I think i’m through with Dell for the rest of my life. I hope you all see the light.
