Nikon D300s dSLR With 7 FPS Continuous Shoot And 51 AF Points System
The well-known multinational corporation specializing in optics and imaging, Nikon has announced the availability of its new Nikon D300s pro-level DX-Format DSLR camera, which features 51 high density focus points, dual CF and SD card slots, advanced D-Movie function (720p) with external stereo sound input, and faster 7 fps continuous shooting, aiming to enhance your professional photography experience.
Features of Nikon D300s:
- 12.3-megapixel DX-format CMOS image sensor and Nikon’s exclusive EXPEED image processing system
- Large, high-resolution (920,000-pixel) 3-inch TFT LCD screen
- Large, bright viewfinder with approx. 100% frame coverage and approx. 0.94 magnification
- 51-Point Multi-CAM3500 autofocus system with 3D tracking
- Faster 7 frame-per-second (fps) continuous shooting (buffer: 17 RAW, 44 JPEG fine, 100 JPEG Normal)
- Records HD video clips (720p resolution at 24fps ; autofocus while recording), and high fidelity audio thanks to the external stereo microphone input
- Nikon exclusive, newly-accelerated Scene Recognition System (SRS) with 1005 pixel RGB colour metering further refines AF performance and light metering
- Integrated Dust Reduction System includes Image Sensor Cleaning function that provides effective dust reduction
- Quiet Shutter Release mode substantially reduces the sound of the mirror aimed for non-intrusive shooting

The new compact Nikon D300s D-SLR camera which measures 5.8 x 4.5 x 2.9 inches and weights about 32.6 ounces is slated to be available at Nikon Authorized dealers by late August 2009 for approximately $1,800 (body only).
