Fujifilm FinePix S200EXR With 12 MP Super CCD EXR Sensor And 14.3X Fujinon Optical Zoom Lens

The leading provider of digital and analog photographic imaging systems, FUJIFILM has announced the launch of its new FinePix S200EXR, which the company claims as its most advanced SLR-styled camera to date, featuring 12 megapixel Super CCD EXR sensor, 14.3x Fujinon optical zoom lens and even an ability to shoot both RAW and JPEG images simultaneously.

Impressive highlights of Fujifilm FinePix S200EXR:

• 1/1.6-inch 12 megapixel Super CCD EXR sensor
• High contrast 2.7-inch LCD display that can be view at 160-degrees both vertically and horizontally
• Pin-sharp 14.3x Fujinon optical zoom lens (30.5mm-436mm equivalent)
• EXR Priority modes and EXR Auto
• Pro Focus Mode and Pro Lowlight Mode
• 5 Film Simulation Modes
• Next-generation Super Intelligent Flash lets users take flash-assisted shots without the danger of flash wash-out
• Dual Image Stabilization delivers clean, sharp and blur-free images
• Manual Settings – Shutter speeds of between 1/4,000 second and 30 seconds ; Multiple apertures of between F2.8 – F11 at 1/3EV steps
• 3 bracketing functions useful for high level photography
• Improved battery life supports up to 370 shots per charge (with included NP-140 Lithium Ion battery)
• Movie mode allows users to record 640 x 480 movies at 30 frames per second
• Combined CCD RAW (EXR)/JPEG shooting function

The new FUJIFILM FinePix S200EXR dgital camera that incorporates 0.2-inch electronic view finder (EVF) will ship in coming August 2009 for around $600.
