Download 32-bit Windows 7 Build 7231 VHD and ISO Images

Another pre-RTM build of Windows 7 has been leaked. This time it’s Windows 7 Build 7231 been released in VHD (Virtual Hard Disk) image format, similar to how Windows 7 Build 7227 was leaked. Windows 7 Build 7231 has the complete build tag of 7231.0.x86fre.winmain.090608-1900, representing that the build was compiled and signed off on June 8, 2009, and is from winmain branch.

Note that the BT torrent will download 7231.0.x86fre.winmain.090608-1900.client_en-us.ultimate.vhd.rar which has the original VHD packed inside the archive. The size of the RAR file is 1,956,847,719 byte and has SHA1 hash of E947CB5AAD1DB581162C1F44F97C9B0E49E70E0A.

A few Windows 7 enthusiasts have managed to create an installation ISO of Windows 7 Build 7231 from the VHD image. Here’s a few download links to the BT torrents that download the ISO images. All ISO images of Windows 7 Build 7231 is using loader from Windows 7 Build 7229.

Windows 7 RC activation keys should still work to activate this build. No 64-bit (x64) version of Windows 7 Build 7231 is available. However, the 64-bit (x64) version of Windows 7 Build 7232 has also been leaked for free download.
