Well after a couple of minor niggles setting up I can confirm that indeed this is a fantastic device. irs been on almost 24/7 since I got it.
The BT works a charm. Havent got round to dealing with much else on it but so far almost everything i have thrown at it has played just fine.
I wish they would stop trying to diss this. Those people from uniCRY would stop the BS.

Mvix USA owns the trademark for the Mvix name (not Unicorn) and can legally release any device it wants. Go to the USPTO and search for yourself: http://tess2.uspto.gov/bin/gate.exe?f=login&p_lang=english&p_d=trmk

Having this Mvix Ultio, I can now spend quality time watching movies with my family. It saves me from the hassle of downloading and burning the movie to a cd. Now, we can now watch videos directly from the internet.
Great product. Two thumbs up!

I am fond of capturing our family’s celebrations like birthdays, anniversaries, thanksgivings, etc with HD camcorder. I used to burn them in DVD for me to watch these treasured moments with my Plasma. But now all I need to do is transfer my media files in the internal HDD of my Mvix Ultio and start enjoying high quality videos. What a great pleasure to get away from those expensive DVDs. I think you’re wondering if Ultio can play .mts files, well IT REALLY DOES!

We are required to make our own movie of a particular topic for our Drama Guild. We use several HD camcorders for us to complete all the scenes just in time. We had a lot to do – editing, compiling, etc. but thanks to My Ultio it made our work lighter and easier. It supports .m2ts files which mean all digital video files recorded by the HD camcorders can be easily played. We viewed the videos in my Plasma for us to be able to see more what are good shots and not. Really a great help!

I used to download movies and burn them unto a DVD disc before I can watch it on my DVD player. With Mvix Ultio, I simply download all my videos onto the internal hard drive via its built-in BitTorrent client. I wish I knew about this before I bought all those darn blank DVDs!

I just got my Ultio for couple of days and forund no trouble with the temperature as it play for 24 hours long and still warm to touched(Yeah, I forgot to turned it off).It was indeed very silent and easy to set up, it took me around 5 minutes to install and configures all of it, then start enjoying my favorite movies in my Plasma. It astonished me because it plays all the codec I have even DTS which is not included in the list. A must have!

None of this matters, since this thing is a piece of junk. Samba and BT doesn’t work. upnp hangs the unit with large libraries. Runs hot as hell.
