Samsung Announces Two New Pop Colors And 160GB Density For S1 Mini Drive
The world’s leading company in semiconductor, telecommunication, digital media and digital convergence technologies, Samsung has added two new ‘Pop’ colors – Sweet Pink and Ocean Blue, to its popular S Series portable hard drives (1.8-inch 120GB S1 Mini and 2.5-inch 500GB S2 Portable hard drives) that first spotted last October in 4 colors including Piano Black, Snow White, Wine Red, and Chocolate Brown.
In addition, Samsung also announced the new 160GB density for 1.8-inch Samsung S1 Mini drive. The Samsung’s external hard drives incorporate SecretZone, SafetyKey, auto backup, capacity gauge and sleep mode, aiming to provide users an ultimate storage experience.
“With an extraordinary capacity for its small footprint, the Samsung S1 series features low power, portability, convenience and eco-friendlines,” said C.H. Lee, vice president, storage sales & marketing, Samsung Electronics. “The new 160GB edition also provides convenient backup with ease of handling, featuring an ultra-compact credit-card size casing.”
The ‘Pop’ edition of popular Samsung S Series external hard drives is shipping now and will be available worldwide by end of this month.
