EA Announces Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 10 Supports Wii MotionPlus
The global leading independent developer and publisher of video games, EA (Electronic Arts) has announced the launch of the Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 10, which features an all-new character progression mode dubbed Tournament Challenge that allows users to recreate golf history.
“We are extremely thrilled to present Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 10 to gamers and golf fans alike and we feel that the game really delivers an inside-the-ropes experience for everyone,” said Mike Taramykin, Executive Producer. “Thanks to our new and exciting relationship with the USGA and with the 2009 U.S. Open at Bethpage Black just around the corner, players will get the opportunity to see how their online virtual scores match-up against the real-life live leaderboard in our all-new EA SPORTS Live Tournaments feature.”
According to EA, Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 10 on the Wii provides users an authentic sports motion experience thanks to the all-new Wii MotionPlus accessory, featuring a family-fun, Wii-specific mode dubbed Disc Golf.
The Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 10 on the Wii is available as a standalone for about $50, or bundled with Wii MotionPlus for about $60. In addition to Nintendo Wii, Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 10 is also available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3 and PSP (PlayStation Portable).
