I bought a brand new Dell notebook with Failsafe on it. The Dell works fine but I found Failsafe is a menace. When I tried to install Failsafe it caused massive problems with the software my Dell. my Dell computer froze up as it was trying to install it. I had to switch the computer off, restart in safe mode and revert to an earlier System Restore point. When I tried again to install FailSafe my computer would not even start up.
I had to reinstall the complete Windows system again. This is on a new system with very little data on the hard drive.
I have e-mailed Phoienix several times. The first time I got a reply offering to help me install it (again). But when I told them I didn't want the software they went dead on me. No answer. Nothing to my repeated e-mails. So I am stuck with a silly pop-up continually telling me to install Fasilsafe. My advice is don't touch this software with a bargepole!
