To Paul MD and Yeugh,
This player supports MKVs as well. Research before you post!

The LG BD90 recognizes .mkv file formats.

I bought a BD390 last weekend despite being a Mac user (iMac with Airport) and hearing the warnings about lack of compatibility. After trying a couple of DLNA servers I found that Eyeconnect 1.6 works perfectly! I now have the DB390 streaming iTunes, IPhoto and movies from the iMac. Eyeconnect is a little pricey ($50) but it works flawlessly.

The BD390 does not work with Apple Airport. LG has no plans to help the Mac community with this problem.

And added some info about that…
LG continues to up its game in the Blu-ray department, first shipping the planet’s first Netflix-enabled BD deck and now shipping the planet’s first DivX HD 1080p certified player.
