Not my web site…but I will rep its solidity!! Anyhow, Im gonna try this but it would be nice for MS to make something that just works like its supposed to, and follows its own command line arguements every time they are initiated…Whats up with the blatantr vunerabilty Microsoft?

I learned about the -nomerge argument at httpwatch.com [1], and found your article while I was trying to discover whether there are more command-line arguments for IE8.

I tried this and it did work, but the article seems to explain that -nomerge does not guaranty the behavior if IE8 judges there to be less than a certain level of resources available.

I wonder if the cool File > New Session menu option works the same way.

I can open 2 different Gmail or yahoo accounts simultaneously with yr instructions.

This MS IE 8 technique using “-nomerge” appears to work for individual Gmail accounts, but does not work for Gmail accounts attached to a user’s domain using Google Apps for Your Domain.

This is a major inconvenience, and I have tried many published supposed solutions for this, with no success (or, rather, with variable success as the various browsers, add-ons, and Google Apps change, but currently nothing that works).

Does anyone have any suggestions ?

Or simply make use of File > New Session.
