Samsung 32GB moviNAND With Advanced 30nm Class Process Technology
The global leader in advanced semiconductor technology solutions, Samsung Electronics has announced its new 32GB moviNAND, which the company claims as the highest density embedded memory card that utilizes advanced 30nm (nanometer) class process technology, incorporating 8 Samsung 30nm class 32Gb NAND chips, multimedia card (MMC) controller and firmware.

“The unquenchable consumer thirst for possessing large amounts of data is now embracing video in a big way, which in turn means rapidly escalating demand for higher density storage,” said Jim Elliott, vice president, memory marketing of Samsung Semiconductor, Inc. “Samsung has taken the lead in providing OEMs with the highest density flash storage produced using the most cost-efficient process technology around – 30 nanometers.”
According to Samsung, the moviNAND based on 30nm class process technology is also available in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB capacities.
