Tellme Voice Service For Windows Mobile 6.5
The world’s software giant, Microsoft has announced its new service for Windows Mobile 6.5, Tellme voice service. The voice service has been improved for user friendly environment. With this service, the users will able to send a text messaging by saying “text” to open the text box and then say “send” to send the message. Beside that, the users can also say “call” and the name of the contact to initiate a call or search the Web using Microsoft Live search by simply saying out query words.

“Because it’s so intuitive, we believe there is a real opportunity for voice to materialize as the leading user interface for the phone,” said Dariusz Packzuski, senior director of consumer services at Tellme. “By bringing voice access to calling, texting and searching, together we reduce ‘menu surfing’ on phones and make the benefits of voice more tangible for everyday needs.”
According to the report, it requires four touches and more than 20 keystrokes to find a business on iPhone, while, the users just need to push a button and speak out the command verbally to find the same business with Tellme.
The user friendly Tellme voice service will be available for free on Windows Mobile 6.5 phones which is expected to be available later this year.
