Decent Graphic and Video Performance Offered By Acer AspireRevo
Acer has lately rolled out its first NVIDIA Ion platform based computer. This tiny computer is less than the size of a hardcover book and dubbed as AspireRevo. With the built in 1.6GHz Intel Atom 230 processor and GeForce 9400 integrated graphics chipset from Nvidia, the tiny machine can run Windows Vista Home Premium and achieve 1080p HD video and 7.1 audio. This is approximately 10x the graphics and video performance of the 945G-series chipset and GMA 950 graphics that Intel typically pairs with its low-power processor by comparison. The built-in Ion graphics and excellent graphics performance will definitely offer wonderful gaming experience to gamers.

The AspireRevo also comes with 4GB RAM, up to 250GB hard drive storage, 4:1 Flash card reader, HDMI/VGA outputs, 6 USB 2.0 ports, Ethernet, and eSATA. It offers 7.1 surround sound audio. Measuring 180mm x 180mm x 30mm in dimension, the Acer’s first ion-based computer is expected to be priced below $300.
