Glacier Computer Announced Ridgeline W200 Rugged Wrist PC for Harsh Environment
Glacier Computer, a leader in rugged PC has just announced the first shipment of its wrist-mounted computer targeted for military and industrial segments. Named as Ridgeline W200, it is powered by Linux operating System and is specifically designed for easy operation even in harsh and critical environment.

The W200 is featured with 3.5-inch touchscreen display and is enhanced with various wireless technologies such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi as well as GPS (Global Positioning System) module that make it a powerful portable PC with seamless connectivity remotely. Interesting, the device is intelligent enough to be able to enter standby mode by itself when it is being hung down to conserve battery energy for long life usage.
Weighted at only 10.2 ounces, the tiny portable computer can be put on wrist conveniently and it is enhanced with magnesium alloy that makes it most suitable to be used in mission critical environment such as Security and Defense as well as emergency situation.
