Windows Genuine Advantage Validation and Notifications 1.9.40.0 (WGA Patch Crack)
A new version of Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA) Validation Tool has been released since March 26, 2009 in order to check and verify that a Windows system is licensed and paid for before allowing it to download updates from official Microsoft servers. The WGA Validation version 1.9.0040.0 or 1.9.40.0 appears to be the latest effort by Microsoft to fight counterfeit of still popular Windows XP operating system.
The new version 1.9.40.0 of WGA ActiveX controls can be downloaded via updated WGA Notifications KB905474 setup installer, WindowsXP-KB905474-ENU-x86.exe.
User who fails the WGA validation test and cannot download updates or applications from Microsoft Download Center and Windows Update or Microsoft Update can download and apply the WGA component patch so that the system will be treated as authenticated, genuine and legally purchased software when validation is performed.

Download WGA Crack v1.9.40.0 (by Deep Space 9): Windows.Genuine.Advantage.Validation.v1.9.0040.0.CRACKED-DS9.rar Windows.Genuine.Advantage.Validation.v1.9.0040.0.CRACKED.REPACK-DS9.rar
Supremo Phantom version of WGA crack is a standalone executable, while DS9 continues to use the batch script to apply the patch as with previous versions of WGA cracks.
After applying the WGA patch, any Windows system, regardless of authenticity, can access and download from Windows Update, Microsoft Update and Microsoft Download Center. There won’t be any notification nag screen or message that pops up too. WGA applies to Windows XP and Windows Vista, and likely Windows 7 in future too. Although WGA does not specifically target Windows 2000, Windows Server 2003 or the Windows 9x family, some downloads and non-critical updates from the Download Center for these operating system do require validation.

Second one worked, validated. BUT. Now I get an error when I DL SP3 from microsoft.
An internal error has occured

This copy of Windows did not pass genuine validation.
The product key found on this computer is not valid for use in your region.

The second link worked fine for me. Windows validates, the desktop problems are solved, and I was able to download SP3 for XP.

I’d tried an earlier keychanger to attempt to put in a real unused OEM license for XP Professional – I tried several of the unsold licenses we have – but it wouldn’t accept any of them – even though the original install was an OEM version. I tried ringing Microsoft – the automated message referred you to your Reseller – being the Reseller ourselves – we were stumped !
I first backed up the registry just in case.
I installed “WGA Crack v1.9.40.0 (by Supremo Phantom)”. I let it be installed to C:\
Norton showed it as having a Trojan so I disabled Norton temporarily whilst doing the install. It loaded up Internet Explorer and showed an activation page which then succeeded. It then restarted the computer.
On restart the Counterfeit message was gone !
Norton then picked up the install file as a Trojan and quarantined it (I later deleted it in Norton) or you could delete it yourself wgasetup.exe
I did a test download of Windows Media Player v.11 which is known to require activation – it failed as not genuine and wouldn’t allow the download !
I then did a Windows Update including downloading and install of Internet Explorer 8 all went through OK and have continued to run it all day including several restarts and shutdowns – all is still OK.
Excepting of course it’s still not a perfect fix re. the failed Windows Media Player above – but I can live with that if it avoids formatting the PC and having to start over.

I tried the first link first: WGA_v19400.rar
And when I ran WGASetup.exe, AVG detected a virus:
Trojan horse BackDoor.SmallZ.VX
C:\Documents and Settings\Admin\Local Settings\Temp\15.tmp\bce.dll
Plus the application didn’t remove WGA.
I downloaded the second link:
Windows.Genuine.Advantage.Validation.v1.9.0040.0.CRACKED.REPACK-DS9.rar
Ran ‘install.cmd’ and the background was removed immediately! Then I ran ‘WgaTray.exe’
and after less than a minute the system tray icon disappeared.
That’s my story!

Hello,
I have 1.9.40.0 – and tried the crack – WGA still shows up.
Does it need to be run in a specific dir? I just ran the install.bat from its own directory.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks!

So I am curious, could someone who found said Trojan please post some details about it on here so others will be able to find and remove it easily. I am asking because I am running avast and did a pre boot scan of everything and found a big whooping 0 Trojans. This is why I’m asking for some more details about said Trojan.

Of course they have trojans inside them, because they are programs that change how a program runs aka as Reverse Engineering in a way. Every single Anti Virus will pick up it is a Trojan. So you gotta ask yourself who do you trust the people supplying the cracks for you to use Microsoft programs? or an Anti Virus that will pick it up and stop u using the programs anyway? don’t let Microsoft be a winner lol…
May 9th, 2009 01:59
the crack indeed contains an trojan. but it does work and I was able to install all the updates from microsoft. later i removed the torjan and now my system is better protected because of sp3 and security software that requires service pack. so thanks

I installed “WGA Crack v1.9.40.0 (by Supremo Phantom)”. There are two questions here, aren’t there? They are:
1. Does the crack do what it advertises?
2. Does the crack install malware?
I can answer #1 for certainty: Yes! The nag pop-ups are gone. The warning signs on the desktops are gone. I was able to download and install updates directly from Microsoft’s website.
As for #2, how can one *really* tell what’s going on behind the scenes? I can only tell you what I observe: Nothing bad happened. No obvious signs of virus activity (I run an updated KIS 2009).
At this point in time, I am satisfied that the crack does what it’s supposed to and does not contain malware.
If my opinion of this ever changes, I *promise* to come back to this thread and post my new opinion.

Of course They show up as trojans, It’s because they are cracks.

Marco: I can conccur that WGA Crack v1.9.40.0 (by Supremo Phantom): WGA_v19400.rar has a trojan on execution. This is not detected at scan time only at run time. You trust scan time only results? I hope you dont even have an AV running on your pc you fgt
