Photobucket Introduces Photo Uploader For T-Mobile Users

The Web’s premiere standalone photo and video-sharing site, Photobucket has recently launched an innovative mobile phone service exclusively for T-Mobile users. The new service has been improved to allow users to send their favorite photo from T-Mobile to various destinations such as Photobucket album, email or desktop.

“T-Mobile is pleased to be working with Photobucket to expand the offerings that help our customers stick together,” said Venetia Espinoza, Director, Mobile Applications and Partner Programs, T-Mobile. “Partners play an essential role in ensuring that our customers have access to new, innovative experiences and Photobucket provides a great experience for sharing spur-of-the-moment photos with family and friends.”

“Photobucket is excited to work with T-Mobile to make photo sharing on mobile handsets even easier,” said Alex Welch, President of Photobucket. “By broadening the options that T-Mobile customers have in porting their photos, the Photobucket Mobile Uploader for T-Mobile gives users the most complete photo sharing experience possible.”

To utilize the application, T-Mobile users can download the Photobucket Mobile Uploader for a free 21-day trial. The T-Mobile users who do not have a Photobucket account can create one for free at photobucket.com and then link their T-Mobile phone to their Photobucket online photo album via the new service. The users can define the uploaded destination either to a Photobucket album, desktop or directly to an email address.

Initially, the uploader is available on selected five handsets including Blackberry Curve, Blackberry Pearl and three Windows Mobile devices. Following the 21-day trial, the users can continue using the free version or purchase the premium version for special holiday one-time cost at $19.99. Once the trial version expired, the users allow to upload only to Photobucket, while the premium version enables users to access Photobucket, email address or desktop.
