MetroPCS Offers Samsung Finesse Smart Phone
Without any contract tie up, the wireless communications service provider MetroPCS Communications Inc offers users a deal to purchase the new high-end Samsung Finesse phone at $349. This full touch-screen mobile device offers a 2-megapixel camera with video capture, QWERTY Keyboard, numeric dialpad, 150MB built-in memory with optional MicroSD expansion slot, MP3 music player and 262,000 color display. The Samsung Finesse supports 3G data networks, full HTML browser, besides being GPS ready and bluetooth enabled.
Some users might be of the opinion that $349 is probably a bit costly even for a contract-free high-end smart phone. But this depends on individual opinion. Users can grab this offer online though a few weeks’ wait is required for the model to be ready for shipping.

WELL IVE HAVE THIS PHONE FOR A WHILE AND SO FAR I FEEL I PAID TOO MUCH FOR IT, AFTER I REALIZE THAT MOST OF THE PHONES OVER $100.00 HAVE ALL THE SAME GPS,EMAIL,MOCOSPACE,ECT. BUT THIS PHONE AND THE BLACKBERRY ARE THE ONLY TWO KINDS THAT CANT DOWNLOAD ALL METRO FREE APPS, LIKE CHAT LINK, METRO LOOPT, AND MANY OTHERS. I FEEL FOR THE PRICE OF THIS PHONE WE SHOULD HAVE ALL ACCESS AND CAPABILITYS TO EVERY THING METRO HAS TO OFFER! REPLY PLEASE….

I dunno why you guys are complaining about not being able to download vids onto your phone. This phone is like most phones meaning it uses .3pg videos. What I do is download vids from iTunes or youtube and convert them to .3pg format using the Youtube downloader, which you can download free from Downloads.com. It quickly converts all the vids and I simply put them on my Mini SD card. It might take awhile but it’s worth it when you’re really bored.

So I’ve been doing searches and still unable to find a solution to where I can download video of .mp4 format directly from this Finesse. I do admitt that this phone is quite an advancement for metropcs, and hope that maybe in the near future that they will be able to have the capabilities to stream videos on their phones. Also to have phones with wifi. That would be awesome.

The Finesse is functionally similar to the Samsung Delve for Alltel and the Instinct for Sprint. Like the Delve, it has Samsung’s widget-based TouchWiz interface, though it isn’t a smart phone. The phone has a 3″, 240×400 touch screen and a 2-megapixel camera. It’s capable of running on 3G networks, though MetroPCS’s 3G rollout is spotty so far.
