Vista boot from DVD still. ctrl-shift-f3 on when it starts asking names > SP2 in > compcln.exe > generalize check mark & OK > boot to XP > imagex the vista drive(D:) and copy it to out from VM (shared folder will do just fine). Only problem is the image is 4,29GB so it won't go clean on .ISO with out formation change to burn (as UDF is not too well working). However, command on for image 'imagex /SPLIT install.wim install.swm 2048 /CHECK' does nice split and including 2048MB 2 files seems to go better and work or of course we have vlite so copy everything else to some folder & the big install.wim > vlite it smaller.
