Forensic RXT for Analysis of Hard Drives
Are you a die-hard fan of forensic science? Do you need to analyse the contents of a hard drive without changing or altering them? WiebeTech has come up with its latest innovation, Forensic RXT.
The RXT is an external hard-drive structure that can accommodate four 3.5 inch hard drives simultaneously. Two of these hard drive receptacles are write-protected by WiebeTech’s trademark write-blocked technology which guarantees that no one but the user can access the contents. The hard drive bays also come with physical locks for added security.
Moreover, the RTX can access the contents of hard drives made recently or a decade ago because the device supports a both IDE and SATA. And there are no bolts or screws to make life difficult! To change the hard drive, just insert it like inserting a CD into the CD drive.
Forensic RTX can be connected via USB 2.0, FireWire 800, FireWire 400, or eSATA. The outer structure is made of aluminium which helps to keep the device cool and edgy-looking. Priced at $1,500, the RTX is a CSI-inspired gadget for those who need to analyse hard-drives and keep them in their original, unaltered conditions.
