Helen, any user script that works with Chrome should also work with SRWare, since they have the same code base. Just follow the instructions for Chrome and adjust the install path for SRWare.

Odd that this article talking about annoying ads has annoying ads all over it (double-underlined words that cause a flyout if you hover over them).

Adblocking with SRWare Iron browser (based off the Chrome source code) is dead simple.
