I'm using the new version 3 and it's difficult to work with. First of all it's free to use but you get an annoying popup every 5 seconds which interrupts your wifi service until you cancel the popup. SO I paid the $10 to remove the popup and it works great. Unfortunately when you dont want to tether and you just want to use an existing wifi connection like the one in your house the iphonemodem software really jacks all that up and never really lets your own wifi perform well at all. It becomes really slow. So overall I would rate this 2/5 because of the inability for the software to revert back to a regular wifi connection.
