Windows Mobile 6.5 on HTC Touch HD Video Tour Demo and Screenshots

Windows Mobile 6.5 is going to be released in 2009 and comes pre-loaded with new phone starting second quarter of the year. Although it’s just a minor upgrade to existing Windows Mobile platform, version 6.5 creates a lot of buzz and anticipation because it’s said to be adding a lot of new features such as multi-touch and motion activated tasks and undergoing user interface (UI) revamp.

A video demonstration of Windows Mobile 6.5 running on HTC Touch HD has been leaked on YouTube. Take a look on the video clip to know features in Windows Mobile 6.5, include the new home screen, new Internet Explorer Mobile, and “Honeycomb” interface. The build version of Windows Mobile 6.5 showing in the video is 21159.5.0.0, a newer version compared with Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM leaked for HTC Blue Angel.

PocketPC.ch also posted some screenshots captured from the HTC Touch HD running Windows Mobile 6.5. The screen shots captured include Home screen with missed calls information, music player, incoming calls, or reminders, device locked UI, honeycomb interface, inner honeycomb interface (sub-folder of Office Mobile foder), option to move an item to top of Honeycomb, Honeycomb in landscape mode, full QWERTY keyboard with WLAN configuration and mailbox.
