i want to jailbreak and update my i pod touch to OS 3.0.Mine is a 16GB i pod touch,model MA627LL,version 1.1.5(4B1).i’m actually not sure whether mine is a 1G or a 2G i pod touch. Please help me.A step by step instruction of how to go about it.Thank you very much.

golden rule is instructing to you. its usually repeating to do so. Quickpwn (xp or vista) is only for 1.0 to 2.2.1 version. Redsnow (windows xp or vista) is for 3.0 to above. Pwnage is using MAC but i dont know how many version. you can jailbreak if you want.

hi, I don’t understand the golden rule mentioned above. Can you explain it? is it correct that if I want to use the yellowstone, I can’t use the quickpwn to jailbreak it and I have to use pwnage tool instead?
therefore, is there any solution for windows users (pwnage tool is only available for mac,right?)
